Stephen Burrows: One of the few designers that have had steady and long term success in fashion is Stephen Burrows. Although he is not plastered all over the television like the more mainstream designers he has had an active hand in changing fashion forever. An article from the Canadian Press says, "Burrows was in a group of American designers who shared the runway with French designers at a 1973 show in Versailles, France. It was the first time designers from both countries had joined, giving U.S. designers a new found credibility." He describes the woman that wears his clothes as "confident. She knows how she wants to look and she's not afraid to do it."
Kimora Lee: The larger than life woman is quite the inspiration for the woman that aspires to do it all. Standing at 6 feet tall, she was subject to bullying and teaching due to her height at a young age( she was 5 feet 10 inches by age 10) and her Japanese and African American heritage. Kimora is an author, mother, reality show star, and president and creative director of Phat Fashions. Her lines include baby Phat and KLS by Kimora Lee Simmons.
Kevan Hall: Kevan Hall was born in Detroit and a student of FIDM. He launched his own line in 2002 by the name of The Kevan Hall Collection. His signature look can be described as Glamour meets modern sensibility.
Tracy Reese: Graduate of Parsons School of Design Tracy Reese launched her clothing line in 1998. She is now the designer of three lines: Tracy Reese, Frock by Tracy Reese, and Plenty which are known for their bright bold patterns, ultra feminine pieces, and clothing made for the modern woman. Her designs can be found in top department stores and speciality boutiques.

The Passionate Shepherd to his Love
Come live with me and be my love, And we will all the pleasures prove That valleys, groves, hills, and fields, Woods or steepy mountain yields.
And we will sit upon the rocks, Seeing the shepherds feed their flocks, By shallow rivers to whose falls Melodious birds sing madrigals.
And I will make thee beds of roses And a thousand fragrant posies, A cap of flowers, and a kirtle Embroidered all with leaves of myrtle;
A gown made of the finest wool Which from our pretty lambs we pull; Fair lined slippers for the cold, With buckles of th purest gold;
A belt of straw and ivy buds, With coral clasps and amber studs: And if these pleasures may thee move, Come live with me and be my love.
The shepherds' swains shall dance and sing For thy delight each May morning: If these delights thy mind may move, Then live with me and be my love.

Hometown: Rancho Cucamonga
Organization: I Heart my Boobs
What made you start I Heart my boobs?
I started I heart my boobs because I wanted to create a fab organization that provides incentives to young women to get screened for breast cancer to promote early detection.
How can people get in contact with the organization?
People can find us on Facebook, call us 909-257-6991 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Since its the month of love, we are going to play a small game. Its call 3,2,1.
What are 3 fashion trends you love right now?
Name two of your favorite stores.
Bakers shoe store!! Forever 21
Who is one person or thing that you can't live without.
My amazing daughter Saniah Breann
Now that you are a survivor, has your view on love and relationships changed any?
Lord yes! It's taught me to try and enjoy as much as I can and not sweat the small stuff so much.
What advice do you have for people out there that have cancer or know someone with it?
Take it minute by minute and when you have the strength day by day. I'd say that there are several things we can't get back in life, like yesterday so choose to be happy as often as you can. I'd say cherish the people and the things that make you happy and smile as much as possible. Do research, be proactive and love and laugh 100times more than you used to. To those with loved ones diagnosed I'd say there isn't anything you can say that will make it alright but try anyway and know when it's just time to listen.
What motivates you?
My goals and desires motivate me; I haven't accomplished all that I want to! I still have to take over the world and that takes motivation! Lol
Do you have a personal mission statement?
My mission is to be the best at all that I have been entrusted with while keeping God first and lifting others up. In order to be "the" best you have to be "your" best.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hmmmmm hopefully being married to Shamar Moore! Lol! On a serious note, in a relationship and perhaps on the way to being married. Running ihmb and adding facets to it and expanding. Overseeing ihmb conventions! Having a children's book line and my own clothing line oh and maybe a kids clothing line as well!! I better get on it lol!! I'm behind schedule!
Everyone needs help to stay fab so pay attention! P.S. fab people aren't jerks! So be kind and respectful to others!!

I wanted to start the month with something super simple but that backfired and I spent a month trying to find the answer to the question “what is love?” How do we know that we’ve found it, lost it, don’t want it, or need it? I was baffled and to be honest I still am. Being the studious person that I am, I looked to dictionary.com and I found a bland unfulfilling answer. “A profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. A feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection as for a parent, child, or friend.” But for me, this wasn’t enough. I’ve been in love or so I think and this definition doesn’t begin to describe it. I went to the Bible and it says, “Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
This is the answer that I was looking for. I noticed that it didn’t distinguish between familial love or romantic love or love for everyone in general. If we are suppose to love everyone and February is the month of love, then Valentines day should be for everyone and not just those in relationships. Believe me, I’m no love expert but I do know that allowing love into our lives makes us much better people. So I challenge you all to love something or someone the best that you can and this month don’t focus on what you lack but on what you can give, romantic or not.
