"It's wonderful to fall. Let's love and risk it all...I'd rather love just a little too much"

This is my favorite song of the week! I watched Something Borrowed last night and it was a really good movie. This song is only at the end credits but its the perfect way to end a movie. What can I say I'm a hopeless romantic! Enjoy!

FNO: What I wore

Friday, September 9, 2011

I don't wear a ton of makeup because I think it tends to age people. I wore white eyeliner on the inside of my eyes and black on the outsides and top lids. M.A.C studio fix foundation and concealer and random mascara. It was 106 degrees that day and humid so I tried to keep it light and simple.

I don't remember where I got my dress from but I love it and my shoes (which can't be seen)are from bloomingdales.

Fashion Night out: Riverside, Ca

I'm a Riverside Native and I love it! I'll always support events that they have because we are very's amazing here and we have a lot of amazing talent and great shopping. This event was much smaller than any event in Los Angeles but there's no place like home! The main event was a fashion show by the Art institute of California - Inland Empire and the shops downtown were open for shopping. I didn't get to stay fo the full event because I had to head to LA but from what I saw the event was a success. Enjoy!

Singer was geat! She sang "Need you now" by Lady Antebellum.

Fashion Night out: Riverside, CA

For the very first time Riverside, CA will be hosting a fashion Night out! There will be a fashion show from 6pm to 7pm produced by the Art institute of California- Inland Empire with a special show opener (I've called just about everyone I could get a hold of to find out who it will be but this secret is air tight!). The best part of the night will include beauty makeovers, product sampling, and music.

This event much like the others around the world is intended to get consumers back into the habit of shopping and spending. There's nothing like buying cute clothes and getting free stuff.

The event will be held in the downtown area between Main Street and ninth street. So won't you join me and many other fashion addicts in this shopping extravaganza! Hope to see you there!

Preparing for send off!

Holy Chicago!! Purchase of the Week

Tuesday, September 6, 2011

My favorite new shirt of all time!! All time!! I bought this shirt at Forever 21 earlier this week and I just want to wear it everyday. This crop top Features
McKinley Morganfield otherwise known as Muddy Waters or "the father of modern Chicago Blues". I'm not a huge fan of band tees or graphic T's but this one caught my eye and I'm in love. I've worn it with distressed high waisted shorts and a floral body con skirt...I'm just convinced that it will go with anything.

"Nothing that’s worthwhile is ever easy. Remember that."
— Nicholas Sparks (Message in a Bottle)

I recently read Nicholas Spark's Message in a Bottle and was inspired to send off my own! So one night when I was feeling uber in tune with my feelings I sat down and wrote my own letter of closure. I included a small prayer and a basic goodbye to situations that I know I'll never have the chance to confront. To be honest it actually helped. I bought a small bottle from Michael's and sent off the letter from Newport beach with the help of my two assistants (my nieces). It would be pretty awesome if someday someone found it but at the end of the day I'd be perfectly fine if it just roamed the earth forever.

To read: Message in a Bottle, Nicholas Sparks, $12.99 or that amazing thing called the library of course!
