Fabulous Girls Guide to: the perfect drink
Wednesday, November 23, 2011
Every hostess should know how to make a good drink even if you don't partake yourself (this I am guilty of). I am a non drinker but I like to entertain so here are a few holiday drink recipes that your guest will enjoy! I cannot stress enough to drink responsibly. If you serve drinks make sure to have a place where company can stay or be willing to call cabs and pay for their fare. It's better to be safe than sorry!
Crown Royal Washington Apple
1.25 oz crown royal reserve
0.5 oz apple schnapps
3 oz cranberry juice
Shake and serve on the rocks or in a single serve. Top with apple slice.
1.35 oz George Dickel Cascade Hollow Batch recipe
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon grapefruit juice
1.5 teaspoon almond extract
1 orange slice
Add George Dickel, lemon juice, grapefruit, and almond extract in ice filled glass and stir well. Garnish with orange slice.
3/4 oz. Triple sec
3/4 oz gin
2-3 dashes grenadine
Pour ingredients into a shaker with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
