Ankle Strap Pump, Prabal Gurung for Target. Lace-Up Pump, Prabal Gurung for Target.

I am a little obsessed with the Prabal Gurung collection (still trying to find out how to pronounce it). The collection which launched on February 10th features dresses, skirts, shoes, and clutches in bold colors.

I went to Target the morning that it was released and found these cute shoes along with a clutch bag. I am in love with my neon shoes and I've spent the last week and a half trying to wear them with everything!

The best part is that everything is at a great price it ranges from $16.99 to $49.99!

Fabulous Girl's Guide to: DIY Rose Water Toner

Tuesday, February 19, 2013

This is an inexpensive and effective recipe for rose water toner (especially if you have left over roses from Valentine's Day). The best part is that it is chemical free and leaves your skin feeling like a new born baby angel! Here's how to make rose water toner:

1. Place 1 cup of rose petals on the bottom of a pot with two cups of water and bring it to a boil.
2. Strain water into a mason jar and let it sit for 2 to 3 hours.
3. Pour water into spray bottle and enjoy! Keep refrigerated and it will last for a week!

- Helps to ease acne and skin inflammations
- Eases the pain and itch of sunburn and bug bites
- Prevents dandruff
- Removes dirt

Total cost: $5.99

Mani Monday: Nail Rock Caviar Manicure

Monday, February 18, 2013

Caviar manicures have always been interesting to me but I haven't been feeling adventurous enough to try them. A few weeks ago I went strolling around CVS (one of my favorite stores) and I found reasonably priced caviar manicure sets by Nail Rock. The process was super easy and not as messy as I thought. Okay, here is how to do a caviar manicure:

1. Paint your nails with two coats of the base color.
2. Before your nails dry, dip your nails into the microbeads.
3. Let your nails dry for an hour or longer. DO NOT put a top coat or a clear polish over it or you
will ruin the manicure (speaking from experience here).

Total Cost: $8.99

Keep in mind, the microbeads will fall off and they end up all over the place (I had them stuck in my hair, all over my desk, and in my car) but the cute outcome is totally worth it!
